Equine Assisted Learning
For families and children, groups or classes to explore and build relationships using equine related activities, focusing on communication, confidence, respect and cooperation, through a unique building block program.
Equine Assisted Learning is a learner based educational experience with horses. “Life skills with horses.”
There is no riding involved. So whether you have previous horse experience or none at all, the exercises are all done with your feet on the ground. Typically a team is made up of two people and a horse. Each participant must have proper foot wear (closed toe shoes or boots) and minors must wear a helmet. The objectives are set out in a group of obstacles designed to have your team interact to complete each obstacle.
I do have some boots and helmets on hand for use, and all equipment and horses are supplied.
A session runs approximately one hour, at a cost of $42.00 per person.
